A poem called "YOU"
A poem called "YOU"
Dear you,
Thank you for going through thick and thins together for all these years. To me, you are an old book that stayed with me the longest. I have read you over and over countless time. But every time I think now that I know you, you always surprise me with a new chapter. Today, I'm reading this book again turning page by page several times.
You have never failed to console every reader that passes by, but they push you away. In a cold lonely night, you comforted them with your warmth and love. Sadly, not many realized your worth but you keep watering the sand hoping the flowers to blossom.
As I read your stories, I smiled often and cried many times. All the stories you tell me makes my entire day just pass by. I fold the corner and read it every night, till it wears out I will keep reading.
The story I couldn't see, can you tell me about it now? I don't have a sad face but I'll not even try to laugh. I will sincerely hear to your side of the story, that everyone failed to understand. I wonder if it's easy to give up but you stayed strong and withstand every hurdle on your way. Wipe away these tears, with this hand is a true story.
Why didn't I recognize you? When you were so close for so long. Even when I looked somewhere else, you were always in my eyes. But the time that made us weren't light at all. If it's not you if it wasn't you, what color would my world be colored right now?
A rainbow on the sky only appears after a rainy day. While you were walking back to the time, trying to fix all your blunders from the past, it must have been really hard for you. While you are stuck behind, time is flowing again as nothing happened.
I believe that you will come back stronger than ever. And now even if the entire universe stands against you, I will never give up on you. Tomorrow, you shall rise again, the whitering bud shall bloom again and beautify this earth with her very own color and fragrance.
When the warm spring arrives, I will walk with you. All the conversations we had, memories that only we cherish, I haven't lost them, I have them all. The days of yours, I see with smile and tears, little scars on brittle heart, molded into one, here I stand with a bolden heart and I will say you're beautiful and I can't ask for more.
